Long time since my last post AGAIN, sometimes i feel i just wanna drop out this website, but i think and i talk to my self saying " no no don't do that , you will have some free time someday and organize your life " so i keep it, Okay it been along time I`m using Ubuntu on my laptop "Desert" and on my desktop "Storm" and i had too many problems with feisty and gutsy kernels " when i close the laptop LED the laptop froze " i know it was a kernel / acpi thing but ubuntu was acting wired with me in last few weeks. so i decided to move to something else so I went to OpenSuse even Don Assad warned me many times saying " bad community , slow development , not really Open Source philosophy and at last a very very slow package manager, but after all i did install OpenSuse 10.3 and i find all of that true zypper is the slowest package manager i ever used, after 2 weeks with OpenSuse i went to ArchLinux it been like 1 week and i alraedy in love with arch !, so fast distro, packman is great package manager and nothing can be done so easy which force me to read and search again, I'm getting a lot of help from one of my friend, she is in Germany and been using ArchLinux since ages and she is very good, and i would like to thank her for the help and the support. Using arch forced me to manually configure i8kmon which control the FAN behavior, able to create session files for GDM again. and configure the CPU Frequency so i can save power. and i would like to advice anyone to try archlinux and give it an honest Chance.
