It has been some time since I moved and living in Cairo , the big, noise, and depressing capital of Egypt , I do not hate Cairo but also I can not say I am a fan even with all this places for entertainment, the Nile, cinemas, really nice big malls, pyramids, and so on, but on the other hand there is the dark side, the ugly side, all drivers always on harry everyone is honking like they never honk before, everyone drives in a zig-zag way from one lane to another like he owns the freaking roads, all are speeding like they have the whole life / death case and closing the billions of dollars deals even microbus drives ! everyday I have to see car accident at least, or a fight in the street, not to mention that Cairo is like the most dustiest place on earth!? let us do not forget the air pollution and it is some how expensive than other cites in Egypt, really stressing. Now let us talk about Alexandria , it is exactly the opposite of Cairo. Alexandria is like a love song you will feel like everything is moving in a harmony, clean streets, some how clean air because of the sea, calm people, rare when you hear a car honk, or see an accident or someone drives in zig-zag way, but on the other hand you might find car/human accident by the sea road since cars are always so speedy and there is not much of bridges or tunnels for people to move around, if you don't like the sea, just setting and watching the waves, walk by the sea or go down to old Alexandria area and downtown then you will not like the city one of the amazing things that it is small city compared to Cairo so you can move around from place to another within 1 hour maximum so no need to speed up, and it is not crowed like Cairo, when I am in Alexandria I just feel comfurtable, relaxed and some how happy , setting by the sea just watching the waves on a summer night " empty night not crowed " or even a winter night with some refreshing cold breath touching your face will drive you to forget all about pain, work and just makes you happy and refreshed. Some people will agree with me and some will not, but what the hack if all agree then there is something wrong in the world.
